My name is Paul Swansborough and I am looking for your support to represent our community at Worcestershire County Council.
I am 39 years old and live in Winyates with my partner and two daughters. I run a small business that's been trading in Redditch for fifteen years. I love our town and I want to ensure that it continues to be a great place to live and work.
So why should you vote for me?
There is one very good reason and that's because I'm an Independent. Most people today are fed up with what the mainstream parties are doing and I want to offer you a real alternative.
What is an Independent?
An Independent is free from any party political control and is the ultimate democratic choice. All political parties operate a whipping system, which forces their councillors to vote for the party line. Independent councillors vote according to their own views and conscience. Therefore, the only people I will take notice of are you.
If elected I promise to carry out the wishes of the local people after listening to their concerns. You really can make a difference on how Redditch is run by voting Independent.
